Daytime tour 11.00 :
This is an experience you will not soon forget. A true bucket list activity in the middle of Bymarka, just a stone's throw from Trondheim city center. Here you get the opportunity to combine two classic winter activities: dog sledding and snowshoeing – in beautiful and safe surroundings.
Upon arrival, the participants are divided into two groups. One group starts with dog sledding with the local musher Rino, who shares his long experience and love for the dogs. You can try driving your own dog team through the snowy landscape, or sit comfortably in the sled and enjoy the ride.
The other group embarks on an atmospheric snowshoe hike through Bymarka's tranquil winter forest, led by an experienced guide who knows both the nature and history of the area. After about one hour, the groups switch activities.
When both groups are back, we gather around the fire in the lavvo. Hot drinks and snacks are served here, and you can order a traditional Norwegian packed lunch with local flavors. While you warm your hands and catch your breath after an active day, you will hear stories from the culture in Trøndelag and about life in and around Bymarka throughout history.
The experience lasts for approximately three to three and a half hours and is suitable for both adults and children, regardless of shape and experience. This is a soft and inclusive winter activity that creates memories.
The activity requires a minimum of three participants. We reserve the right to cancel if there are fewer than three registered participants at the starting time. In that case, the full amount will be refunded.
