The experience

One smooth journey from water to table.

Meet your skipper and guide in central Trondheim and step aboard your own traditional clinker-built boat. For the next hour, the route belongs to your group: explore the colourful wharves and bridges of the Nidelva, head toward the fjord, or ask the skipper to choose the best journey for the weather and light.

At the end of the tour, we sail through Skansen and bring you directly to the harbour. Lille Skansen waits beside the water with an informal atmosphere, seasonal food and views across the sailing boats.

Choose an earlier departure followed by lunch, or begin after 15:00 and continue into dinner. The format works especially well for company groups, family celebrations and guests who want a complete Trondheim experience without complicated transfers.

Is the meal included in the boat price?

No. The boat and meal are priced separately so we can match the menu, drinks and timing to your group. Your complete offer will show every included element.

Can we choose the river or fjord?

Yes. You can request a route or ask the skipper to recommend the best option based on the day's weather and your interests.

Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

Dietary needs and allergies must be provided in advance. We coordinate these with Lille Skansen as part of the restaurant reservation.

Where do we meet?

The precise meeting point is stated in the confirmation and will normally be Ravnkloa or the Rockheim pier.

What happens in poor weather?

The skipper monitors wind and water conditions. The route may be adapted, and if safe boat operation is not possible we contact the organiser to discuss the available alternatives.

Can we reserve the restaurant privately?

Lille Skansen accepts group and event requests. Private use depends on the group size, season and restaurant availability and must be confirmed separately.
